Went to my mum and had the exact conversation. Not that kind of reponse I hoped to get, I expected more concern than the "one week only?" vibe I got. But since they agreed so randomly..

I don't think I would be bringing $2000 la. That time I went to Okinawa last June with the school, I spent less than 600 bucks, and that was 10 days? I know the cost of living is higher at UK but 1000 to 1500 bucks should be enough for a 7/8 days trip I think
